We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team and to assist with the rapid growth of our client.
Your role will be:
ā Test Case Creation: Develop detailed test cases, covering positive, negative, edge, and compatibility scenarios for web and mobile applications
ā Collaboration: Work closely with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure clear communication throughout the development process
ā Documentation and reporting: Accurately report defects and provide regular updates on testing progress, issues and risk assessments
ā Test execution: Execute manual and automated tests, focusing on API testing, functional, regression, and compatibility testing
ā Test environment: Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring effective testing across multiple platforms
You will fit this role if you have:
ā At least 3 years of progressive experience in automated testing for mobile (iOS/Android)
ā Proficiency with Appium for mobile UI testing
ā Previous working experience with TypeScript
ā Previous working experience with Git workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews)
ā Solid understanding of testing principles, debugging, and quality assurance methodologies
ā Experience in creating automated software test cases (regression tests, functional tests, stress tests, unit tests
ā Ability to build, maintain, and refactor test automation frameworks
Good to have:
- Experience configuring and running automated tests in GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Previous experience with Mocha
- Strong communication skills: writing and verbal communication for reporting test results and issues
