QA Automation Engineer (Playwright + TypeScript)

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team and to assist with the rapid growth of our new client.

Your role will be:
● Design and build a Playwright (TypeScript) automation framework from the ground up
● Develop and maintain automated smoke, regression, and end-to-end test suites
● Integrate automated testing into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
● Build API automation tests for backend integrations and service validation
● Analyze test failures, triage issues, and communicate findings clearly
● Work with QA leadership to prioritize automation coverage based on risk and usage frequency
● Ensure the automation suite remains stable, maintainable, and scalable as products evolve
● Expand automation coverage sprint by sprint alongside the product roadmap

Requirements:
● 2–4 years of hands-on test automation experience
● Strong Playwright and TypeScript experience
● Experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions)
● API automation testing experience with REST services
● Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
● Experience with AI tools for: Generate test scenarios, Optimize selectors, Analyze failures, Improve automation coverage and efficiency
● Strong understanding of flaky tests vs genuine product defects
● Experience with: Page Object Model (POM), Playwright HTML Reports and/or Allure Reporting, Debugging and troubleshooting automation failures
